    VRM temps

Guys but a quick question what temps should my VRMsouthward be reaching with a 4ghz OC 1.4v vcore one.2V SOC? I monitor my temps and take never seen my VRMs become over 70c under heavy bench and when gaming never become a over 50c. Also what is the PCH? Those temps agree steady at 50-55c. * *Does those temps sound right or may I have a borked temp sensor?

What is your ambient temp and is your MB in a instance and does it take any VRM cooling apart from the onboard heatsink fan?

The PCH is the chipset...nether the heatsink with the M2 slot nest to SATA ports

my ambient temp is between 22-24c, my motherboard is in quite a large case and has no additional VRM cooling but I do have a triple rad directly above the VRM heatsink pushing air out of the example, which I presume is pulling air over the heatsink.*

Every bit long as the VRM has some airflow it shouldn't reach anywhere near boiling point...the modest heatsink on the back of the board over the mosfets is difficult to become air over unless you lot direct a fan at the top...

Do you lot ever see the footling fan come on?

Do you e'er see the little fan come on?

I havent seen or heard the little fan come fifty-fifty when benching, so I presume the tiptop heatsink is getting plenty airflow by my radiator fans pulling air over information technology to keep the temperature low*
